KIng Sunny Ade becomes first Nigerian musician to join Hard Rock's iconic memorabilia collection

Grammy Award-nominated icon, Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, popularly known as King Sunny Ade, is now officially the first Nigerian musician to donate pieces from his personal reserve to Hard Rock’s world-famous memorabilia collection. On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, the Juju maestro donated a vintage Fender Guitar and other personal items including an album cover and a pair of shoes at Hard Rock Cafe Lagos . “I’m thrilled to be the first Nigerian musician to donate personal items to Hard Rock’s world-famous collection and to be showcased alongside other legendary artists,” said King Sunny Ade. “For me, this is more than just a ceremony; it’s anopportunity to pass on a cultural legacy and inspire new generations of musicians around the globe.” King Sunny Ade’s donated personal items will join more than 81,000 pieces of music memorabilia that Hard Rock has acquired over its 45-year history. Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says Nigerians should be at peace regarding the leadership style of President Buhari as he is the captain of the Nigerian ship and he knows where he is going. Adesina said this when spoke as guest on TV programme, Seriously Speaking. “ If you have your doubts about the captain of your ship and you run into a storm, you begin to panic. But if you know that this captain is tested, he is seasoned, and he will not abandon the ship, then you will stay with him. Kanye West released from hospital, now back at home with his family

Kanye West has been discharged out of UCLA Medical Center after more than a week of treatment for his mental breakdown. TMZ and E!  News have both confirmed Kanye is at home with Kim Kardashian and their kids. He reportedly left the hospital under the care of Kim, and his personal physician, Dr. Michael Farzam ... who called 911 the day Kanye was admitted. People close to Kanye say his "nervous breakdown," was triggered in large part by the anniversary of his mother's funeral.

Stowaway found dead in Arik Air plane that departed Lagos for Johannesburg

South African Airport officials today found the lifeless body of a stowaway in the main wheel of one of Arik Air’s A330-200 aircraft that departed Nigeria and landed at the Oliver Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa. A statement from Arik air signed by its communications manager, Ola Adebanji, states that the stowaway hid in the wheel of the aircraft that departed the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 3:55pm on Tuesday and arrived in Johannesburg at 11pm. The remains of the deceased was found by engineers of South African Airways Technical facility at the Oliver Tambo International Airport who were carrying out routine maintenance check on the aircraft after it landed at the airport. The identity of the deceased is yet unknown.
